Questions

The things people ask

If what you need is not here, telephone or email us. There is no obligation attached to asking.

Ask us anything.

01

The chamber

Optional on most pieces: set into the base, invisible once the piece is standing, and never touched by us.

Do you take the ashes?

No, and we never will. The capsule arrives empty and you fill and seal it yourself. It is a deliberate decision: we never take possession of anyone’s ashes, so there is no question of custody and nothing to go wrong in transit.

Can the chamber be opened again?

Yes. The capsule is removable and the screw cap closes on an O-ring seal, so nothing is permanent. Families are never locked in.

Can you see the chamber?

No. It is set into the base and is invisible once the piece is standing. Nobody looking at the sculpture would know it was there.

How much can it hold?

A small portion, not a full set of ashes. Most families keep the remainder elsewhere or divide it between relatives, which is often why they wanted more than one piece in the first place.

02

Photographs and likeness

The photographs decide the likeness. We tell you honestly what we can see in them, and refund in full if they will not give a good likeness.

How many photographs do you need?

Three to six from different angles is ideal. One clear photograph is workable; you upload one at checkout and can send more afterwards. We tell you honestly what we can see within 24 hours.

What if the photographs are old?

A good old photograph beats a poor recent one. Send what you have and we will assess it within 24 hours.

What if it doesn’t look like them?

You see up to three design previews before anything is printed: the first preview plus up to 2 revisions. Nothing is printed until you have signed it off.

03

Ordering and delivery

A week, not two months, because everything is made under our own roof.

How long does it take?

Up to 7 days from approval. Most of the sector quotes four to eight weeks. Ours is a week because we print in our own workshop rather than sending the work out.

When do I pay?

Before sculpting begins. The approval gate is what protects you — we do not manufacture anything until you have approved the design.

Can I order more than one?

Yes. Additional pieces from the same sculpt are 20% off each, which is why the Family Set exists.

Where are you based?

Our workshop is on the Wirral, in Merseyside. Every piece is printed and finished there, and we make sculptures for families across the UK.

Do you deliver across the UK?

Yes, insured and tracked, boxed with the care card, and the capsule instructions if your piece has the chamber.

04

Pets

The same machines, the same standard, their own pages.

Do you make sculptures of pets?

Yes, on the same machines and to the same standard. Every pet piece is made to order, so ask us for a price. They have their own pages so that families arranging a funeral and pet owners are never browsing the same photographs.
