Terms of sale

These terms apply to orders placed on this website with Lasting Legacy Sculptures ([registered business or company name, company number and registered address — TO CONFIRM]). You can contact us at support@lastinglegacysculptures.co.uk.

Each sculpture is made to order from the photographs you send, and is personalised to you. Sizes, finishes (including Plain Grey), bases and the optional ashes chamber are described on each product page; the optional chamber is available on selected sculptures only. A sculpture is an artistic interpretation of a photograph, sculpted and corrected by hand, so small variations from the photographs are part of its nature.

Where a piece has the optional ashes chamber, the capsule arrives empty with instructions. We never receive, handle or hold ashes.

Prices are in pounds sterling and are the price you pay, including delivery within the UK. [VAT status — TO CONFIRM (e.g. “prices include VAT” or “we are not VAT registered”)]. You pay in full at checkout by card through Stripe. At least one photograph is uploaded at checkout, before payment; you can send more afterwards.

Your order is accepted when we send you an order confirmation by email. If a price on the site is plainly wrong we will tell you before starting work, and you can cancel for a full refund.

• We assess your photographs within 24 hours. If they will not give a good likeness, we say so and refund you in full.
• We sculpt and send you up to three digital previews, with 2 rounds of revision included as standard.
• Nothing is printed until you approve the design. Please check the likeness, pose, size, finish, base and the spelling of any inscription carefully: once you approve, production begins and the design cannot be changed.
• Delivery: up to 7 days from approval, insured and tracked.

We deliver within the UK. [International delivery — TO CONFIRM]. Timescales are our honest estimate; if something will delay your order we will tell you. Please check your sculpture when it arrives and tell us within 48 hours if it is damaged, so we can put it right.

Because every sculpture is made to your specification and personalised, the usual 14-day right to cancel does not apply. What we offer instead, and your rights if anything is faulty, are set out in returns and refunds.

By uploading photographs you confirm you are entitled to use them for this purpose (for example, you took them, or the copyright owner is happy for you to). We use them only to make your order, as described in our privacy notice, and never in our marketing without your separate written permission.

If we fail to keep to these terms we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of that failure. Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights, including under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, or our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

If something is not right, email support@lastinglegacysculptures.co.uk and we will do our best to resolve it quickly. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales; if you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland you may also bring proceedings in your own courts.
